EdStar Global is a professional education services company offering guidance and support to students and young professionals seeking international education and career opportunities. In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to EdStar Global, and “you” or “your” refers to any individual who accesses our services or interacts with us. By accessing our website or availing our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use our services.


II. Our Services

We provide advisory and support services including:

  • a. Career counselling
  • b. University selection assistance
  • c. Application and documentation support
  • d. University coordination and communication
  • e. Visa and travel guidance (advisory in nature)
  • f. Pre-departure assistance
  • g. Any other related services.

Our role is to guide and support you in making informed decisions. We do not act as a university, immigration authority, or decision-making body.


III. Eligibility

By using our services, you confirm that:

  • a. You are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement; or
  • b. You are acting under the supervision or consent of a parent or legal guardian
  • c. You agree to comply with all applicable laws and requirements.

In the case of users below 18 years of age, use of the services shall be deemed to be with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.


IV. Your Responsibilities

To enable us to assist you effectively, you agree:

  • a. To provide accurate, complete, and updated personal and academic information
  • b. To submit genuine and authentic documents
  • c. To review all applications and submissions before finalisation
  • d. To comply with timelines, requirements, and instructions from universities and authorities

You remain solely responsible for the integrity, authenticity, and accuracy of all information and documents submitted. We shall not be responsible for any consequences arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information or documentation provided by you.


V. Our Responsibilities

We work with you as a guidance and support partner throughout your application journey. While we aim to provide accurate and timely assistance, all final decisions regarding:

  • a. Admissions
  • b. Scholarships
  • c. Visa approvals

are made solely by the respective universities, institutions, or government authorities.

VI. No Guarantee of Outcomes

While we strive to support you in achieving your goals, we do not guarantee:

  • a. Admission to any institution
  • b. Visa approval
  • c. Scholarships or financial aid
  • d. Specific timelines or outcomes

We provide guidance and mentorship services and do not guarantee admission, employment, or specific outcomes, including job placement or salary. All outcomes depend on third-party institutions and authorities beyond our control.


VII. Third-Party Involvement

Our services involve coordination with third parties such as:

  • a. Universities and educational institutions
  • b. Embassies and visa authorities
  • c. Testing agencies and financial institutions
  • d. Vendors, contractors, or sub-contractors, as may be the case.

We are not responsible for decisions, delays, policy changes, or actions taken by such third parties.

VIII. Fees and Payments

Where applicable:

  • a. Service fees will be communicated separately
  • b. Fees once paid is non-refundable unless agreed otherwise in writing
  • c. Payments to universities, embassies, or third parties are independent of our services

Any specific payment terms may be governed by separate agreements.


IX. Communication

By sharing your contact details, you agree to receive communications from us via:

  • a. Calls
  • b. Emails
  • c. Messages

Such communication will be limited to service-related updates, follow-ups, and relevant opportunities.


X. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, branding, and materials, is owned by us and protected under applicable laws. Any materials shared during counselling sessions, including documents, or recordings, remain the property of EdStar Global and are provided for personal use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use such materials for commercial purposes without prior permission.


XI. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • a. EdStar shall not be liable for admission rejections, visa refusals, or third-party decisions
  • b. EdStar shall not be responsible for delays or changes caused by universities, embassies, or other entities
  • c. EdStar shall not be liable for consequences arising from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you

In no event shall EdStar Global be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.


XII. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless EdStar Global, its employees, representatives, and affiliates from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable legal costs) arising from:

  • a. Incorrect or misleading information provided by you
  • b. Submission of false or forged documents
  • c. Violation of these Terms
  • d. Misuse of our services

XIII. External Platforms

Our services may involve use of third-party platforms or websites. EdStar is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of such external platforms, and you are encouraged to review their terms separately.


XIV. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue services:

  • a. If you breach these Terms
  • b. If false or misleading information is provided
  • c. If required under applicable law
  • d. In cases of abusive conduct or misuse of our services
  • XV. Force Majeure

    We shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance due to events beyond reasonable control, including:

    • a. Government actions or policy changes
    • b. Natural disasters
    • c. Technical disruptions

    XVI. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

    In the event of a dispute arising under this Agreement, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the conflict through good faith negotiations and mandatory mediation at Mohit Mokal Mediation, having their office at 3rd Floor, Plot 190A, Sector 12, Vashi, Navi Mumbai- 400703, as per their rules. If the dispute cannot be resolved through mediation, the parties agree to submit the dispute to binding arbitration. The arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. Courts at Navi Mumbai shall have exclusive supervisory jurisdiction. This Agreement is governed by the laws of India. Courts at Navi Mumbai shall have exclusive supervisory jurisdiction.


    XVII. Changes to Terms

    We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be made available on our website, and continued use of our services will constitute acceptance of such changes.


    XVIII. Miscellaneous

    These Terms constitute the entire understanding between you and EdStar Global. If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue in effect. Failure to enforce any provision shall not be considered a waiver.
